PUBLIC NOTICE COUNCIL AND PLANNING BOARD MEETINGS | SEPTEMBER 16

The Chimney Rock Village Council will have a Public Hearing for a front setback variance request along the front of 381 Main Street (Bubba's Outfitters and former Bubba's General Store) allowing the rebuilding of Bubba's General Store, lost as a result of TS Helene, to be built flush with the front of Bubba's Outfitters along the front facade.  This will adjust the setback from 28 feet to 26 feet, 3 inches.  The Village Council has the authority to make this adjustment.  The Public Hearing will be at 5:30 pm, Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at the Chimney Rock Volunteer Fire Department, Community Meeting Room. This will be during the regular Village Council Meeting.

 

The Chimney Rock Village Planning Board will have a Public Hearing for a front setback variance request along the front of 381 Main Street (Bubba's Outfitters and former Bubba's General Store) allowing the rebuilding of Bubba's General Store, lost as a result of TS Helene, to be built flush with the front of Bubba's Outfitters along the front facade.  This will adjust the setback from 28 feet to 26 feet 3 inches.  The Village Council has the authority to make this adjustment and the Planning Board will review and make a recommendation.  The Planning Board Public Hearing will be at 3:00 pm, Tuesday, September 16, 2025 at the Chimney Rock Volunteer Fire Department, Community Meeting Room. This will be during the regular Planning Board Meeting.
